Join us for our annual LIVE art auction this year on Friday, November 8th, 2024. Bidders have the exclusive chance to walk away original handmade artwork created by art students, faculty, alumni, and community members. Additionally, it is a great opportunity to support young and emerging artists, network, and learn more about SIUE Friends of Art.
The Art Auction is also the critical funding source for the Visiting Artist program at SIUE which provides students, as well as the community at large, the opportunity for an in-depth look at the processes, techniques, and inspirations of notable working artists around the nation. Through informative lectures, hands-on workshops, and thoughtful critiques, the Visiting Artist program impacts each student directly.
🔴 Hors d’oeuvres will be served as well as a cash bar
🔴 $10 paddle fee. Free paddle for students with a valid student ID.
🔴 Preview of work is from 5pm-7pm. Live auction starts at 7pm-10pm.
🔴 Free parking will be in lot B.
